As the Director of Investments, Dan oversees K&A’s investment team and is responsible for maintaining the firm’s investment outlook and portfolio strategy. Dan oversees the firm’s trading and portfolio management across both public and private markets. As part of this, Dan works closely with K&A’s Wealth Advisors to manage client portfolios, beginning with the construction of tailored implementation plans for clients’ specific asset allocation plans. Dan supervises ongoing portfolio risk, including with clients’ concentrated positions in company stock or options, real estate or direct business holdings, and deferred compensation plans. 

Dan received his bachelor’s degree in Finance from Lehigh University in 2010, and is a CFA® and CIMA® charterholder. He joined K&A in 2015 after spending five years at Deutsche Bank, where he most recently was an associate in the bank’s equity research department covering Financial Institutions. Dan lives in Port Washington, NY with his wife, Adrienne, and two kids, Landon and Drew. Outside of the office, Dan enjoys traveling, exercising, and supporting New York sports teams.
